After scoring a huge blockbuster in the form of Bhale Bhale Magadivoy, Nani is back with a romantic thriller Krishnagadi Veera Prema Gadha.Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, Let's get into the details of KGVPG.
Story
Krishna (Nani) is madly in love with Mahalakshmi (Mehreen) who is the only sister of a local rowdy.Krishna is afraid of approaching his lover's brother and Mahalakshmi tries her best to postpone her wedding plans.
One fine day Krishna decides to go and tell him about his love. On the very night some people attacks on Mahalakshmi's house and Krishna is assigned the duty of ensuring the safety of three kids.
Who are they and what happens next has to be seen on screen.
Performances
The movie thrives on performances and Nani is a runaway winner among actors. He delivers a knockout performance in what is essentially a difficult role. He shows a remarkable flexibility. Canadian girl Mehreen Kaur Pirzada is aptly casted in the film and she is good with her histrionics.Satyam Rajesh, Bhramaji and Prabhas Seenu are superb and it is their spontaneous humour and witty liners that keep the movie entertaining.
Antagonists Ramaraju, Satru, Harish Uttaman,Murali Sharma and Ravi Kale did their best in their promising roles.Sampath Kumar is neat as a powerful ACP Srikanth. The child actorsBaby Nayana, Moksha and Sri Pratham are good in their roles.
Technical Aspects
14 Reels should be credited for their outstanding production values. camera work is good, Music is okay not up to the mark. Dialogues are above average ,I feel personally last ten minutes in the first half and a couple of songs need to edited out.Coming to the director, Hanu Raghavapudi, he has done a good job with the film. His writing is very strong and the way he has mixed the love story with thrilling elements speaks volumes of his talent. Had he planned his interval bang correctly and placed some more interesting scenes during the second half, the output would have been even more racy
